Nearly 650 Everwise Employees Volunteer to Celebrate 2024 Day of Giving
Everwise held its Day of Giving on Monday, October 14 where it supported close to 45 organizations including food banks, animal shelters, and hospitals.
Earlier this week, Everwise employees spent the day volunteering in communities across the state of Indiana and into southwestern Michigan during the Everwise Day of Giving. This marked the fifth time Everwise has hosted its corporate-wide day of service since 2018.
Nearly 650 Everwise employees gave back at approximately 45 different non-profit locations. In support of this important day, the credit union’s 50 banking branches, corporate, and auxiliary offices were closed to serve others in a wide variety of community projects, schools, and charitable organizations.
“We take pride in making a real difference in the lives of people across the communities we serve,” said Jason M. Osterhage, president and CEO of Everwise. “Our Day of Giving truly reflects who we are—a people-driven culture in which our employees come together to create meaningful impact.”
The annual Day of Giving is an extension of Everwise’s ongoing effort to support the communities it serves. In 2023, Everwise employees volunteered more than 5,300 service hours with causes close to their hearts. Together Everwise and the Everwise Foundation also gave back more than $833,000 to uplift countless local community organizations.
