Paul Letourneau

Paul provides strategic and operational leadership for commercial real estate, SBA/USDA, and C&I lending businesses while overseeing risk management, product thresholds, and strategic direction to achieve Everwise’s organizational goals. Paul is also responsible for designing, building, and managing the necessary capabilities to trade loans programmatically with counterparties, as well as managing a network of vendors, partners, and investors to support wholesale loan production and portfolio management.

With over 30 years of experience in providing sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring debt and equity throughout the capital stack, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. Prior to joining Everwise, he served as a senior leader of Commercial Originations for Alliant Credit Union, where he successfully grew a $400 million portfolio to $2 billion.

Before his tenure at Alliant, Paul spent a decade with Bank Leumi USA (now Valley National Bank), initially as the National Head of Healthcare and Regional Executive in Chicago, then as the National Head of Credit and Deputy Head of the Commercial Bank based in New York. In this latter role, he managed a $7 billion portfolio of diversified real estate and C&I relationships across multiple states.

Paul's extensive career also includes 11 years at Merrill Lynch, where he served as Division Credit Manager based in Chicago, overseeing a national footprint of small- to middle-market relationships.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and college-age son, traveling, volunteering, and engaging in sports and exercise with his family.
